Join the Young Alumni at Dacha Beer Garden for a relaxed evening to reconnect with fellow alumni and cadets, enjoy a drink (non-alcoholic drinks will be available on the menu) with classmates, and expand your network. It’s a great opportunity to catch up with old friends, meet new ones, and spend time together in a fun setting.

Join alumni and friends of The Citadel and VMI for a spring afternoon of history, wine, and fellowship at The Winery at Bull Run.

This special Citadel–VMI alumni meet-up will feature the winery’s Witness to History: Museum Tour, offering exclusive access to its Civil War museum and a guided walking tour through a collection of more than 200,000 artifacts. During the one-hour tour, a personal guide will share the stories behind the relics, and guests will enjoy four tastes of wine along the way.

Following the tour, we will gather in a reserved outdoor area to continue the afternoon together. Guests may purchase additional wine on site, and a food truck will be available. Attendees are also welcome to bring light snacks such as a cheese or vegetable tray.

The winery is conveniently located just off I-66 and Route 29, less than 15 minutes west of Fair Oaks Mall.

Cost: $39 per person

Eligibility: Ages 21 and over

Registration deadline: Thursday, April 30, 2026

Join alumni and friends on Saturday, November 14, 2026 as we gather to cheer on The Citadel Bulldogs in the Military Classic of the South against VMI.

Hosted by The Citadel Club of Greater Washington, DC (CCGW), this alumni tailgate will be a great opportunity to reconnect with members of the Long Gray Line, enjoy pregame fellowship, and show your support for The Citadel.

The Citadel Club of Greater Washington, D.C. will host its 29th Annual Alumni Muster on the evening of Tuesday, March 16, 2027, at The Army and Navy Club at Farragut Square, in observance of the 184th Muster of the South Carolina Corps of Cadets and in honor of alumni who have passed away during the preceding year.

The Muster commemorates the founding of the Corps of Cadets, which began on March 20, 1843, when the first cadets reported to The Citadel on Marion Square. That date is now celebrated as Corps Day, the official anniversary of the Corps.

Please save the date and plan to join fellow alumni and friends for this meaningful annual observance.
