The Citadel Club of Greater Washington (CCGW) recognizes the importance of the student recruiting mission.  We take pride in supporting efforts to bring the best and brightest young men and women from the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Northern Virginia (DMV) region into The Citadel alumni pipeline.  The intended outcomes of our recruiting efforts are positive impacts on the Corps of Cadets, our alma mater, and the future leadership of our great nation. 

We work with The Citadel Admissions Office, Citadel Alumni Association (CAA) National Citadel Alumni Recruiting (CAR) Committee and Citadel Alumni Association District Representative leadership to connect outstanding young people with the benefits of a Citadel education and initiate the Prospect-to-Cadet-to-Young CAA member mentoring cycle.  We capitalize on the volunteer spirit, school pride and grassroots representation of graduates who reside in the DMV region to execute a model program of recruiting events and activities.  Our events and activities involve efforts to increase awareness, articulate value and expand outreach for our "Mighty Citadel."
