I hope everyone has been having a great summer. I'm exceited about the many events that we have coming up this fall. The Young Alumni have asked that I extend an invitation to all DC area alumni to join them for their networking happy hour this coming Thursday, August 31, 2017. Details below:
WHO: The Citadel Young Alumni of Washington D.C Networking Happy Hour
What: The Citadel Young Alumni Association of Washington DC would like to invite you to our 2nd networking happy hour being held Thurs 31 Aug @ Madhatter. Madhatter will be serving $1 beers and $5 Makers Mark Bourbon starting at 8pm and going until 2am (Close).
Where: Madhatter, 1319 Connecticut Ave NW, Washington, District of Columbia 20036
When: Thursday 31 August 2017 6:30pm-10:00pm EDT.
Why: Our mission with these events is to restart the strong DMV Citadel network and bring the Long Grey Line together. We hope to establish an atmosphere where young alumni can come together for fellowship, networking and have a few drinks in the meantime. This is the 2nd time we have hosted one of these events and had a phenomenal turnout for our 1st meeting in June. We hope to build upon the ideas and suggestions of that day and build this into D.C's strongest alumni network.
Details: The Citadel Young Alumni Association of Washington DC would like to invite you to our 2nd networking happy hour being held Thurs 31 Aug @ Madhatter. All Citadel alumni in the D.C, NoVa and Maryland areas are welcome to attend this event, but event is geared towards a younger crowd. This is an informal event to facilitate young alumni engagement, networking, friendship and of course some adult beverages. All alumni are welcomed, no matter age, as we look to help facilitate mentorship between young alumni and alumni that may have more experience and wisdom. This group is working closely with the Citadel Club of Greater Washington D.C. (CCGW). Alumni are strongly encouraged to attend CCGW monthly breakfasts and events.
