AN EVENING WITH CAPTAIN GENO PALUSO, USN (RET.), '89, COMMANDANT OF CADETS
Join greater Washington, D.C. area alumni on Wednesday, Feb. 28, 2018, at 6:00 pm as we welcome Captain Geno Paluso, USN (Ret.), '89, Commandant of Cadets.
Please register early as this event is limited to fifty persons. Registration includes heavy hors d'oeuvres, beer, and wine. Registration will be available until Tuesday, Feb. 26, at 6:00 pm. Dress for this event is business casual.
Captain Paluso, a 1989 mathematics graduate of The Citadel, was commissioned into the Navy from The Citadel. He served as a Navy SEAL officer on active duty as the commander of the Naval Special Warfare Group 3 at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii. The group consists of 700 specialized SEAL and fleet personnel. He has held leadership roles commanding special operations forces in Africa, Iraq and Afghanistan. Paluso’s service awards include the Defense Superior Service Medal, Defense Meritorious Service Medal, Bronze Star, Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Commendation Medal, Navy Commendation Medal, Joint Achievement Medal and the Navy Achievement Medal.
