The Citadel in DC - Cadet Farewell Dinner
Join alumni and friends as The Citadel Club of Greater Washington (CCGW) says farewell to the cadets participating in the Fall 2024 semester of The Citadel in DC program. The CCGW will host the cadet-interns at a farewell dinner on the evening of December 4, at Texas Jack’s Barbecue in Arlington. DATE & TIME: 5:30 pm to 8:00 pm - Wednesday, December 4, 2024 LOCATION: Texas Jack’s Barbecue, 2761 Washington Blvd, Arlington, VA 22201 DRESS: Casual MENU: Brisket, bone-in chicken, Texas-style beef sausage, mac & cheese, brussels sprouts, coleslaw, mixed salad, and cornbread. A cash bar will be available for individual beverage purchase. REGISTRATION: Online registration is available through December 3, 2024. This is a popular event and space is limited; early registration is recommended.

The Citadel in DC internship and academic program has been supported by the CCGW for several years. Cadets and students live and intern at various locations in the Greater Washington area, while taking interdisciplinary academic courses focused on international policy, national security, and intelligence. Alumni-mentors provide participants with professional development and networking opportunities, as well as valuable career advice and insights.
